What is the Oberlin Finance and Investment Club?
The OSFIC seeks to educate all Oberlin students interested in finance, investing, and asset management by giving members the opportunity to manage a portfolio of real funds. Our community-inclusive investing approach allows for the syndication of research, opinions, and insights to be circulated in order to construct a final investment decision. Currently, the Oberlin Finance and Investment Club has over $370,000 of Asset Under Management.
The OSFIC holds weekly meetings where the club discusses its portfolio and addresses the effects of recent market activities on its holdings. At these weekly meetings the club will often review a proposal for a new investment.
